It's 1AM. I have a few pictures and a bunch of thoughts, but I really should be doing Art. ._. So I won't.

Actually, I was just sort of prompted by Wux's post to get out some of my photos from my trip. Not many, but well, here you go.

Just the view from a particular spot on the island that I like. There's a little beach in a corner, and tons of volcanic rocks that stretch out to sea. I climb them until I'm almsot all the way out, and...sit there.

Oh yeah, I got the Arts Council PR Post! .W. YAY

I was going to do Econs. Instead, I got drunk.

"You Deserved It," people declared. I am inclined to agree.

I suppose I'll do it tomorrow. It's 3AM now - when I woke up finally with my sober face, it was about 2AM and I haven't the faintest idea what happened apart from a vague memories of racing pulses and pounding heads - and I'm not tired (I suspect I was knocked out for quite some time) but I shoud get some sleep.

I'll talk about words that people will say to everybody but the ones they're meant to be for tomorrow.

(Also, I found my camera - I need to make more pictures, to make photos mean sometime.)

On irrationality:

There are tons of things you regret in the morning. Words and deeds and other people.

Despite all that, things aren't okay yet.

When I was tearing through the house for as many textures as possible for my Arts Council application, it occurred to me to use a newspaper page. I took the first one I saw, and ripped out a section.

I looked at the section later. It was a simple piece of the columns of text, except for one section - a quote, bolded, enlarged and placed smack in the middle of the torn piece.

"She tries her damned'st, but she's cold."

Just as a notice: I have detention today. I won't be back until...really late.

I'm feeling a bit down today. Maybe more on that later.
